The quiet power of restraint in brand design

Start With the Decision, Not the Description

Before someone hires you, they're deciding something: is this worth the money, is this business trustworthy, will this solve my problem. A service page should be built around that decision, not just a list of what you offer.

The Questions Every Page Should Answer

Regardless of industry, most service pages are missing the same handful of things:

  • What exactly is included, and what costs extra
  • Roughly how much it costs, or how pricing works
  • How long the process takes, from first contact to finished result
  • What happens first if someone reaches out
  • Examples of the actual work, not stock photos

Leaving these out doesn't make you look more premium. It just means the customer has to go find the answer somewhere else, possibly from a competitor.

Write for the Specific Customer

A service page that tries to speak to everyone usually speaks clearly to no one. If you offer a few distinct services, give each one its own page written for the person who actually needs that service, rather than one general page trying to cover all of them.

One Page, Done Well

A single clear, specific, useful service page will outperform five thin ones built around keyword variations. Depth and clarity are what convert a visitor, and increasingly, they're what let AI tools summarize your business accurately when someone asks.

At A Dopo Agency, we help local businesses rebuild service pages around what customers are actually trying to decide. Reach out at nicolo@adopoagency.com.
